A bounty is an additional type of earning paid to you when your book is the first purchase of a new AudibleListener member. For each bounty earned, the rights holder will receive $50, or if you're participating in a royalty sharing contract, the rights holder and producer each earn $25.
Bounty payments are made when the Audible listener who purchases your book has been successfully billed three times by Audible. View the full eligibility terms here.
Bounties earned are reflected on your sales dashboard, as well as your monthly or quarterly royalty statements. Your sales dashboard looks like this:
Bounty payments are made when a new Audible listener who purchases your book has been successfully billed three times by Audible.
Bounty payments will be paid with royalty payments once you reach a minimum payment threshold.
If you share royalties, you also share $50 bounty payments. The Rights Holder gets $25, and the producer gets $25.
Currently, to be eligible to earn bounties, you must be a Rights Holder who distributes an audiobook through ACX, or a Producer who produces an audiobook under a Royalty Share Deal that is distributed through ACX. In each case, you must also be a resident of the United Kingdom or the United States in a qualifying state.
You must live in the UK or in an eligible state within the United States to earn bounties. Unfortunately, residents of Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont are not eligible to earn bounties.
No. Under the $50 Bounty offer, there are no limits to the number of bounties you can earn. View the full terms and conditions for more information.
You can increase your bounties by promoting the sale of your book to potential Audible members. Providing links to your audiobook on your website, Facebook page, email signature, and newsletters is a great place to start.
