Leading independent audiobook publisher Tantor has a catalog which includes multiple Pulitzer, Man Booker and National Book Award winners, as well as numerous New York Times bestsellers—all paired with top professional narrators. Tantor’s audio publishing program has won many Audie Awards and AudioFile Earphones Awards. Now, the dynamic marketplace functionality of ACX means Tantor will have access to a growing new supply of titles as it continues to find and publish great audio books. Tantor plans to make offers on titles “off the grid” which it finds on the ACX service; the publisher will cherry-pick several titles a month posted on ACX to produce and publish itself. ACX invites other forward-thinking audio publishers to join Tantor in expanding the audience for authors and for audiobooks.
