She has recorded a wide range of books for Perkins Braille & Talking Book Library, a service of the Library of Congress, since 1991. She holds an MA in Oral Interpretation of Literature from Northwestern University (Evanston, Ill.). Marilyn's professional life includes 12 years on WUMB-FM in Boston and several years as a high school speech and drama teacher. She is a long-time performing poet and storyteller.
