Badlands, CJ Box, Chapter 1
Read the first chapter of the book cold, up until the five minute mark, didn't do any pre-reads. Looking to see what I sound like in that setting. I'm sure if I went a second/third time, it would be more crisp and connected. However again, just looking to share my voice and how I read.
As noted above I'm from California and primarily lived in the Bay Area working in various Tech roles, but on the revenue generation side of the business. I'm as laid back as they come, this is engrained in my sales style too, however I'm smart and a good read of people. I've always lived by the Ocean and I'm an avid waterman. Have gone to Hawaii quite a bit and in the last five years I've transitioned away from surfing for a sport called Outrigger Canoeing.
I'm a big road-trip guy, I can pretty much name every spot up and down the West Coast from San Diego up through British Columbia. I'm learning more about inland mountainous areas as that's another interest. Also about farmland and ranches, as creating your own ecosystem and self sustainability is also intriguing.
I read about my interests, I'm a History/NonFiction and Fiction reader. Travel/adventures and details about the location and the people are really interesting to me.
