“Delivering the prose like a winter wind, he vibrantly captures ancient Viking culture.” Audiofile Magazine Feb 2019 Earphones Award review "A Ridiculously Good Audiobook! The voice acting in this was so above par...!" "Narrators who can capture characters that well are worth their weight in coffee." "Is this really just one narrator?" "Great book. Great Narrator!" "He told the story in a way that made you feel you were right there..." "This book + This narrator = One Hot Listen!" "I do enjoy working with you and your professionalism..." Elizabeth Johns, Author "Loved your work and will definitely be in touch with other projects in the future." Dean Crawford, Author Narration for me is a consuming passion. I love books, always have, I love bringing characters to life and lifting the words off the page and I love great writing whatever the genre. In the end, it's all about the writing, getting to the heart of the story. As an actor, I'm perhaps best known as Good 'Lias Hatfield in multi-Emmy-awarded series Hatfields & McCoys alongside Kevin Costner, Tom Berenger and Powers Boothe (Hatfield brothers) and Bill Paxton (Randall McCoy) and have appeared in a number of movies and TV shows both sides of the pond. Fans of Audio Drama can hear me next in the Big Finish Tony and Cassandra Mysteries, playing a variety of main characters across the series. I offer huge vocal performance variety in timbral quality, accent and characterisation from high drama to animation coupled with studio skills developed over many years as a composer and sound designer. Efficient in the studio, I get high quality takes down quickly but always with attention to detail and the highest standards of performance. Fully equipped audio-perfect studio (The Dungeon Studio) with choice of microphones and full sound design/edit/mixing capacity in 64 Track digital setup. As a producer I also work with other voice artists. Royalty Share considered where RHs can demonstrate a commitment to marketing, a substantial following, 3 figure monthly sales of kindle or paperback editions, good reviewer feedback or a book that simply blows my mind.
Narrator with Blackstone Audio, Deyan Audio, Spectrum Audiobooks, Audible UK, Big Finish Productions, Crossroads Audio, Riptide Publishing, Audio Factory, Learning Ally Award winning Independent producer working with authors to develop and create their audio catalogues Screen credits including Good ‘Lias Hatfield in Hatfield’s & McCoys
Audie Award Winner, 2019 Earphones Award Winner Feb 2019 His Viking Bride by Olivia Norem. Nominated for Best Narrator in a Thriller in the 2018 SOVAS Voice Arts Awards. "Then there is the narration - or should that be production? This is so well done, it feels like a whole cast of actors has been employed here, rather than just Greg Patmore. His ability to become each and every player individually is remarkable and, by slight technical effects for such details as conversation via communication systems, made very real. His reading voice for the ongoing text is American but the British pilots' accented voicings and other nationalities of the passengers and flight assistants is absolutely spot on. Is this really just the one narrator?" ***** review of Altitude by Dean Crawford "As I stated up top of this review, I was already a hug fan of this story when I got my hands on this audio book. But there was just something about this audio version that really turned it up a notch.

Most of that rest in the hands of the narrator, Greg Patmore. Man, what a voice. Not only is it incredibly easy to listen to, but just the way he used it to bring out the very best in these characters. When Martin spoke, I could easily see and feel his stiff baring and rigid control. With Theo there was a bit more slipperiness to it, something a bit smooth, like this was a man who knew how to bend around rules to get what he wanted. It never went too overboard, though, and there was always something inherently likable about him.

The way I instantly felt these characters when they spoke, the ease at which I got caught up in the story, are why I loved this audio book so much. It took something that I already felt was good and set out to enhance it in any way possible. A lot of the time having someone else come in and try to replace the character voices in your head, can be a bit jarring. Yet when I was listening to this, all I could think was this was how they supposed to sound. Theo ended sounding a lot different than what I originally had in my own head, but in the best of ways. Narrators who can capture characters that well are worth their weight in coffee." Review of Wanted: A Gentleman by K.J. Charles "Greg Patmore's growly tones work well for Lobo, and for the other characters – there's a sequence in an asylum where you'll think there are multiple actors involved – providing that extra edge. Downe's text comes to gravelly life." The Sci-Fi Bulletin on The Jackport Killer
