Poem by TS Eliot.
Over 25 years experience of audio production, voice work and live performance. Currently building a profile as a narrator with my own blog-style website and social media presence. I have a professionally equipped studio producing excellent professional results conforming to all ACX audio specifications. I am conscientious and methodical in my work and can meet deadlines. I can also proof-read to a high standard.
I specialize in classic-style literature, horror and comedy in fiction titles as well as poetry. In non-fiction i am interested in spirituality, biographies and arts titles.
However, I will consider any other styles or genres on their own merits.
My vocal style is mid-range, versatile. My natural accent is well-spoken British, a little more colloquial than "queen's english" although I can also read in that style. I can do most British regional variations such as scottish, northern and southern irish, welsh, northern british, cockney, estuary, etc. I can also do other world accents such as french, german, dutch, scandinavian, eastern european, russian, spanish, Indian, Australian, etc. I can also read in a "general" american accent.
I am also a musician, producer, writer, poet and artist and am also currently creating content for an up-coming website which will feature my own audio books, poetry, essays, original music and art.

“David is a talented professional and a pleasure to work with. I was very pleased with the narration and audio editing he provided for my science fiction novel ‘The Combat Codes.’ He adeptly covered a cast over over twenty characters and made each unique with his variety of accents” – Alexander Darwin
“Wonderful experience! David Sweeney-Bear brings characters to life with his many voices and talents in narration. Any story will benefit from his skills and abilities.” – Riley Nielson
“An excellent, professional job.” – James D Jenkins
“I have had the pleasure of working with David on a number of my titles and the process has always been a delight. Aside from being exceptionally professional, David is a highly talented narrator. Many of the reviews on my titles have praised his skills in bringing the stories to life and I wholeheartedly recommend his work.” – P J Blakey-Novis
“The challenge of “Ashik-Kerib” is that it is a very old tale, adapted and retold by a writer with a fairly modern manner of expression. As the narrator, David had to find just the right balance between the story’s sense of age and ethnic flavor and still making it fresh for today’s listeners. I believe he accomplished this and much more. In his interpretation, the story truly took on a third dimension, becoming a bright, savory listening experience.” – Maria K
