Wendy Wolfson came to the world of audio narration via a meandering path. She set out as an English graduate to teach English in Northern Spain, and followed that with sundry other jobs (from waitressing, to estate agency, and a few more), none of which fed her soul or creative passions. She woke up one morning, just before Christmas, to find she could barely move. Whilst lying on the floor with a bulging slipped disc, she contemplated the universe and recalled how, as a child, she had read to her father when he was in a similar position! Wendy is now an experienced audiobook narrator with many happy authors and listeners. With a versatile vocal range and a British English accent, she offers clear and engaging performances. She lives happily with her little boy, their dog and two cats on the edge of beautiful Bath in the UK.

Alina Sayre, Award-winning Author Wendy auditioned to narrate my middle-grade fantasy audiobook, The Illuminator's Gift, and won the role over 8-10 other candidates, some of whom had professional acting credentials. Her narrating voice is smooth, calm, and clear (with a lovely British accent), and her editing work produced a crisp, professional sound. She brought consistency and vivacity to the book's large and diverse cast of character voices, and even agreed to sing the book's several musical passages. But beyond her narrating talents, Wendy is a consummate professional to work with. She is amazingly dedicated and hardworking, as she not only read my book before beginning to narrate, but learned an entire glossary of fantasy name pronunciations. She submitted every chapter for my review throughout the process and was swiftly responsive to changes where needed. Best of all, she is a wonderful listener who worked with me to find the best sound for my book and remained positive and professional throughout the entire process. I can't recommend her highly enough! Jess Heileman, Author Wendy was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only is she incredibly talented with the way she was able to make my words and characters come to life, but she was patient and understanding during the entire process. She quickly accommodated the few suggestions I had and was able to complete the book in the timeline she had given (despite how busy she was). I wouldn't hesitate a moment to work with her again and would highly recommend anyone in need of a talented voice. Emma Sterner-Radley, Author Wendy Wolfson is a narrator who never disappoints. Her skill with accents, different voices, and general storytelling is only rivalled by her work ethic and how easy she is to work with. On top of all of this, her voice is comforting and her diction is clear as a bell. I would recommend working with Wendy to any author searching for a narrator. Irina Shapiro, Author I selected Wendy Wolfson for my project based on her voice sample on ACX. Not only did Wendy do an excellent job recording my book, but she was professional, accommodating, and open to my suggestions. Few corrections were required, but those items that needed to be changed were edited quickly and expertly. I look forward to working with Wendy again, and hope that she will narrate my entire series. Michael Bussa, Author As the author of the story, The Peace of Pi, I screened numerous voices, only to turn them down. Admittedly, I held unreasonable standards since this story is unlike any other -- there doesn't seem to be a particular category for it. It is allegorical, poetic, mysterious, and dramatic. Wendy Wolfson was a perfect choice. Her voice is meant to tell stories. It is soothingly angelic and the missing element to complete my work. I will look to Wendy for future projects. I invite you to listen, and to enjoy as much as I do!
