It's all about comfort, isn't it? When people hear my voice they hear a delivery that is straightforward, appealing, and most of the time depending on the script, comforting. My voice has been utilized in the communications field for three decades now, and the good news is that I know I have positively impacted the lives of hundreds of young adults as a teacher. My prior experiences in radio further contributed to my oration skills, providing me with the needed confidence for delivering communication effectively. I enjoy working behind the microphone and even while I was teaching lessons for my junior and senior high school students, many opportunities came when I recorded audio and provided interpretative reading performances.
Public educators don't really get to list "credits," unfortunately, because, well, we aren't in the commercial world really. However, my most recent credit besides the remote learning I provided my students during the Covid-19 pandemic is a video production I edited that featured Riverside High School's Band and Orchestra programs this past school year. Skipping over to an earlier time before I became a teacher, I was a freelance writer and over time I have published written work for Mad Magazine, Hanna Barbera and DIC (cartoon company in Burbank, CA).
