Aaron is a professional actor, trained in stage work, on film, and voice. He has worked for Funimation doing voice work, for National commercials such as Tostitos, Nike, Mt. Dew, etc. and has vast experience as an on stage comedic improvisor. Having a strong background in theater, especially improv, Aaron understands the nature of creating well-rounded characters. Perfectly comfortable at diving into the surface of a characters voice, inflection, accent, posture, etc. Aaron excels at understanding the rounded traits that bring characters to life such as needs and desires that may seem contradictory to what is spoken on the surface, levels to each line of dialogue that include deception-- even when the character may be deceiving themselves-- and knowing that every character has, at one time, experienced their own anger, joy, sadness, and the full circle of the emotional web that has brought them to where they are. Aaron has studied comedy as well as drama. He is fully aware of the comedic rule of threes, has an impeccable sense of irony. More importantly Aaron wants to tell stories. Dramatic or comedic, a good story is about change and development, and allowing a reader or listener to change and develop themselves and it is this that brings him the desire to tell stories.
Aaron has been an actor in the Southwest U.S. region for the past five years. Please visit aaronmichael.net for demos, resume, galleries, and social media contact.
Aaron has recently participated in the Oklahoma 48 Hour Film Project, directing a wonderfully talented group. The second film Aaron has directed for the OKC 48 Hour, Outside the Box is a clear winner and will be sent on to regional and national film festivals for possible screening!
