Excerpts from Devil at my Heels, nonfiction, Chapter 1
I am a middle-aged baritone, yet as a voice actor can sound younger or older. I speak with clear diction and a generally accepted standard American English accent. Other accents or affectations can be used. I can be a formal announcer, like you hear at theme parks or ball stadiums, more hip and excited, or serene and trustworthy. I have used my own Pro Tools studio for over two decades, and am happy to receive and act on direction, ideas, or pointers throughout the recording process.
I have a long list of variety shows, concerts, plays, and musicals in which I have performed, and have also been a regular announcement narrator at venues around the Denver area.
I moved to Colorado in 2011 from Southern California where I grew up, and some of my performing and arranging work can still be seen and heard in and around theme parks in Orange County.
