Mysteries & Thrillers
Excerpt from Alan Gratz, Grenade.
With a love of public speaking and reading, I look forward to bringing voice to your words. It is my mission to bring your literary vision to life. I have a background performing in small plays in the local community growing up. While I am not fluent in any language, between the ages of 11 and 17, I studied Japanese (1 yr), Arabic (1yr), and Russian (4 yrs) giving me the ability to provide adequate accents for non-native and non-fluent languages. Additionally, I was in the Marine Corps from 2001-2005. This experience provides military background, bearing, voice command, and dedication to complete a task. Upon discharge, I became an EMT and worked as a medical assistant and healthcare administrator for nearly 10 years. While schooling for and working within the medical field, I was exposed and mastered names of conditions and medication. I continue my studies of business through reading and e-learning to grow and develop my knowledge base, exposure to topics, and expertise in voice command. All of this is critical to ones ability to provide the necessary tones, inflection, and heart to the words written.
