Edmund Dantes is moved from his prison and taken by armed guard to the sea. I tried to capture a bit of his bewilderment and some of the panic he is suppressing.

A touching scene from Little Women between characters Jo and Beth. In this excerpt I've tried to bring in tenderness between the sisters, while still capturing their youthfulness.

As a narrator and producer, I can create your audiobook for you! My goal is to engage the listener and entertain them with your story by delivering clear narration with just the right touch of emotion. Yours is always the most important voice and I'm here to tell YOUR story. My process includes a thorough read of your book to make sure I get where you're coming from and where you're going. I'll clarify any character details with you as needed! After that, I settle down and start to narrate, making sure I get the tone and intonation right, and that each important character stands out. During editing I listen closely and make sure we have a good clean sound and I haven't flubbed my lines! The mastering step makes sure the audio meets ACX's stringent technical standards, and finally the files are rendered to deliver a ready-to-go audiobook. Quality checks are built in throughout the process. My typical voice is American neutral and I can do a great Audrey Hepburn, drop my voice low for male characters, or even throw in some vocal fry, though most importantly, I want the listener to know the characters and let the voice of the author come through. My specialty is young adult heroines with a touch of sass, whatever worlds they may roam. I'm able to produce crisp, clear audio without background noise in my custom home studio, but am open to working with professional studios. I have found my passion in audio book narration, and have spent uncountable hours honing my craft and building my profile through volunteer reading. Have a listen at my Librivox reader page.

A review of my readings: "Just discovered your splendid reading in Dodo's daughter ( E.F.Benson - one of my big favorite writers). Now went to your page and already downloading other books read by you ... Thank you so much for your admirable reading!" "...you read it so engagingly, especially in the dialogues. It really made it all very lively, I felt like (I was) listening to a mini stage play." Very well read by a reader who seemed also to thoroughly enjoy reading the story. Beautifully read. I like the way Webster dips into the idea of the paranormal then gets out of it again. Excellent reading and excellent stories. Can only recommend. Both the story and narration were extremely good.
