The Valkyrie Chronicles: Return of the Asgard

Category : Science Fiction & Fantasy
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-General American
Vocal Style : Engaging
Performance Notes
This is one of my best selling titles to date. A Sci-Fi twist on the Norse Mythos, the main character is a Valkyrie, thousands of years old, battling against the Ragnarok aliens wishing to overtake Earth. She's snarky but strong, a very straightforward kind of character.

The Priestess and the Slave

Category : Fiction
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : British-General British
Vocal Style : Storyteller
Performance Notes
This was a fascinating read for many reasons, chief among them is the historical fiction aspect of it: alternating views of ancient Greece as told through the eyes of both an Oracle of Delphi and a common house slave. The author wanted the entire piece done in a general UK accent, and it was my first project to be done completely IN an accent.

Mirrors & Magic (A Steampunk Fairytale)

Category : Science Fiction & Fantasy
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-General American
Vocal Style : Storyteller
Performance Notes
I was so happy to get this project! I adore the Steampunk genre, and this retelling of Snow White is so excellently done, I couldn't help but be proud of the finished product. There are quite a few different accents involved in this one, but in this snippet, you're introduced to Brendan, the Irish Prince of Blades in the Carnival Neve Bianchi calls home.

How to Lose a Familiar in 10 Days

Category : Romance
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-General American
Vocal Style : Comedic/great comic timing
Performance Notes
I chose this snippet because I've never had a novella make me laugh quite so hard as this. Some background on the scene: Raven is a human warlock who has been cursed into looking like a cat, and it's only when Hemlock (a witch trying to figure out how to break the curse) is sleeping that he returns to his human form. This scene takes place right after they're getting rather, er, intimate, and all hell breaks loose.

Floats The Dark Shadow

Category : Mysteries & Thrillers
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-General American
Vocal Style : Brooding
Performance Notes
This novel, set in 1800's Belle Epoch Paris, was an utter delight for me to narrate. The characters and writing are both vibrant and lush, the mystery completely engaging, and it gave me more than a workout on my French pronunciation. This snippet is from the beginning of the book, where we meet the villain of the story.

Desperate Housewives of Avalon

Category : Romance
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-General American
Vocal Style : Articulate
Performance Notes
This is a follow up to Desperate Housewives of Olympus, and gave me a bit more flexibility with range and accent. Told from 5 different points of view, this snippet comes from an amusing conversation between Morgan Le Fey (who has a rather posh UK accent) and Aphrodite, regarding hooking up her son, Mordred, with the ever chaste Artemis.

Death and The Dream

Category : Fiction
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-General American
Vocal Style : Straightforward
Performance Notes
This is a more recent project. A collection of stories, each with a theme about death and dreams. Rather than being cloyingly dark, these stories are much more contemplative, and read like poetry in terms of general flow.

Ride of the Darkyrie

Category : Science Fiction & Fantasy
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-General American
Vocal Style : Articulate
Performance Notes
I completely fell in love with this character. She's dangerously sexy, sarcastic and snarky, and was incredibly fun to voice what was, essentially, a female Dexter.

My Butterfly

Category : Drama & Poetry
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-Southern
Vocal Style : Versatile
Performance Notes
I chose this piece because out of all the three main characters involved, two of them are Scottish, so it was an opportunity for me to play with my accent skills. This snippet comes from about halfway through the book, a conversation between the main character and her best friend.

Balustrade

Category : Erotica & Sexuality
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-Western
Vocal Style : Sarcastic
Performance Notes
I'm familiar with Erotica and have quite a few titles under my belt already, but this one? This one was something special. It's a darker piece that's just overflowing with lush prose and sinister sensuality in the very best way.

100 Days In Deadland

Category : Science Fiction & Fantasy
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-General American
Vocal Style : Straightforward
Performance Notes
This project is one of my favorites to date. It's a new take on the Zombie genre, with a Dante's Inferno twist. I really enjoyed both the story AND the characters because they were so fascinating

Daisy Sample

Category : Erotica & Sexuality
Language : English
Gender : Female
Accent : American-General American
Vocal Style : Sultry
Performance Notes
A short snippet from a recent audio book I did titled "Daisy Dominatrix". The main character is a blend of both sensual and snarky.

I have been doing audio/voice work for the last 14 years in the entertainment industry. I currently have narrated almost 400 audiobooks, both within ACX and with other major publishing houses (Tantor Media, Brilliance Audio, Icasm Press). I have also narrated several scripts, as well as written/produced and edited the audio files. I love to read and have always wanted to provide the audio portion for others to enjoy. I have received many positive reviews regarding my reading style, my voice, and my ability to make even the most challenging material easily consumable. I like to entertain listeners, to bring them into the world of the story while working closely with the author to be sure they are completely happy with the work. "Bringing your stories to life, one word at a time."
Numerous audio clips & custom scripts for clients. Have written and produced several podcasts for personal websites. Was a long running radio personality for a privately owned company with a regular weekly show. 380+ Audio books available through Audible.com, with more in production. Also working with Brilliance Audio and Tantor Media.
Reviews from Podiobooks.com listeners: "... good audio quality and a very nice narrator's voice. (also good clear English for people who have English as second language-like me as a German)" ~Desan66 "Excellent! Very well done! The writing was terrific, and the narrator's voice was simply amazing." ~SolidGranite "Very entertaining! The narration was excellent!" ~Fredrik "2 hours That is the approximate amount of sleep I lost because I couldn't stop listening to this book." ~Krad-Rellim "...but your voice is something special . I cannot wait for the next books and selfishly don't want to distract you but if you are not already you should become an audio actress." ~Darty
