Owner Neil Kesterson has a long history recording and producing audiobooks (they used to be called books on tape when I started) for 30 years. The studios at Dynamix have been specially built with floating floors and walls, high-damping materials, low-flow damped HVAC, and acoustical absorption designed to record with minimal background sound. In other words - it's quiet! We use professional benchmark-quality equipment, like a Neumann U-87 microphone, Nuendo software, and a Yamaha mixing console. Put another way, we meet tough industry standards. In fact, NPR, the BBC, HBO, ABC, Disney, Twentieth-Century Fox, Paramount Studios, and Amazon Video are repeat customers. We have an extensive library of licensed music and sound effects to enhance your production. We also have a bank of talent experienced in narrations and long-form recordings and audio books. And finally, we have experience. Owner Neil Kesterson has been an audio professional since the mid-1980s, working on a wide variety of projects including documentaries, sound-for-picture, live events, broadcast, and music.
