What does it take to push a woman over the edge and decide to plot her husband's death?

As a boy, Scott loved stories, make-believe, and wonder. He and his friends would gather in their clubhouse around an old Panasonic recorder and put their spin on Monty Python, Bill Cosby, Cheech and Chong, the Hardy Boys, and anything they could imagine…and he was quite imaginative. Through his school years he was involved in drama and forensics – always loving to perform. After college he “got serious” for a while, serving in the military, getting married and having a family, even becoming a member of the clergy. Then he became a teacher and returned to telling stories (as a reading and history teacher). He began recording audiobooks in 2015 and has been loving it ever since. When he's not in the classroom or behind the microphone, he enjoys getting out on his Vespa scooter and appreciating the wind in his face as he cruises around the bucolic countryside of his native Tennessee.

2018 Finalist for the ABR (Audiobookreviewers) listener choice awards in science fiction for "Tourists of the Apocalypse" by C.F. Waller FICTION - (sci-fi) "Mr. Bennett's narration is outstanding as he brings to life the story with strong emotions, confusion, power, control, anger, loss, heartache. You can hear all these in his voice as he builds each character giving us their strengths and weakness. His female and male voices are wonderful you always know who is talking and just what they are feeling." - Audible reviewer Cyn on "Tourists of the Apocalypse" FICTION - (horror) - “Scott's enthusiasm for my stories was simply fantastic and I immediately realized he was having as much fun reading them, as I had had writing them. With each new scene, Scott brought the action and my rather weird cast of characters to audio life in ways I'd never imagined.” - Ron Fortier, author of “Brother Bones, the Undead Avenger” FICTION - (mystery) - “Each character's voice was distinct and recognizable. His instincts are on point when humor must be injected, terror, and a host of varying emotions. The range of his talent is ever expanding.” - Emilie J. Howard, author of the “Cold Hollow Mystery” series. FICTION - (fantasy) - “...one of the best narrators out there. He really gets every aspect of the book, whether it's humorous, action-packed, creepy, or sad. He gets the emotion of the book. His timing is excellent, his character voices are distinct, and his female voices are realistic. His voice quality is first-rate and his accents are perfect. I look forward to every chapter because I know the performance is going to be brilliant and I can't wait to hear my favorite scenes come alive. He's also phenomenal to work with. He's professional and polite with great communication and incredible speed.” - Rain Oxford, author of “The Sorcerer's Saga” FICTION - (romance) - “The first time I heard Scott read my words I was stunned -- and hooked. I couldn't wait to hear more and begged him to do all of the books in the series. He's such a talented man and a real pleasure to work with. I feel honored to have his voice on my entire Honky Tonk Angels series!” - Ciana Stone, author of the “Honky Tonk Angels” series.
