Performance Notes

I am the father of five children ages 25 to 17 and husband of one wife who has been by my side 27 years and counting. I was born and raised in Wyoming and currently reside along the front range of Colorado. I enjoy camping and fishing, as time allows, as well as an occasional outing on a canoe and the simple hike to a favorite picnic site with my wife and family. As for hobbies, I love to play guitar/sing and love outdoor photography. As a personality type I don't fit well in a "box". While I thrive at math, science and studies that revolve around logic I also excel in Music and Performance Art. Case in point, my focus of study in college was computer sciences and the scholarships I received to pay my way through college were from the Vocal, Music and Theater Departments. I am an avid book reader and owner since I was a child and old enough to earn wages mowing lawns and cutting weeds. My teachers in High School told my parents that I was a great student but they would like me to participate in class room discussions more and read books less. I said that with a 3.75 GPA, reading to many books shouldn't be an issue. I still prefer a good book to a movie every day of the week and some of the better known authors I've read over the years include Tolkien, Terry Brooks, Stephen R. Donaldson, and Christopher Paolini. With the recent discovery of audio books my life has forever been changed, as well as my wallet, and I've listened to dozens of audible books to include authors like Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan, Suzanne Collins, and J. K. Rowling to name a few.
