An Audie-winning narrator, I’ve recorded hundreds of audiobooks and audio dramas — including Audible and New York Times bestsellers. I was born in South Africa, in a valley Alan Paton called ‘lovely beyond any singing of it’. I grew up travelling, picking up a range of authentic dialects and languages along the way, eventually studying music and drama at the University of Cape Town. In South Africa, I worked in the theatre, touring the country with a small repertory company, as well as appearing on radio, TV and film. I'm a brain injury survivor, and I have a unique understanding of the music of language. I moved to London to study classical acting at LAMDA, and went on to train as a singer at the Royal Academy of Music, where I was part of the second graduating cohort of the legendary RAM Musical Theatre programme. I also have an MA in creative writing from the University of East Anglia. I now live just outside of London, in Hertfordshire.

This superlatively good audio thriller ... is made almost unbearably vivid by narrator Peter Noble. – Audiofile Magazine (THE CHESTNUT MAN - *Earphones Award winner*, 2020 Audie Finalist - Mystery) ...a particularly devastating serial killer, for whom the fantastic Peter Noble will help you feel sympathy. – BookTrib (THE CHESTNUT MAN - *Earphones Award winner*, 2020 Audie Finalist - Mystery) A pitch-perfect narrator… – Audiofile Magazine (EXOPLANETS) Narrator Peter Noble is utterly convincing as Fred, Con, Lila, and, especially, 5-year-old Max. With subtle variations, Noble gives them all distinctive voices that reflect their personalities and backgrounds, and he communicates their fear and excitement as they struggle to survive, learn to work together, and discover hidden wonders of the jungle. - Audiofile Magazine (THE EXPLORER - *Earphones Award winner*) Peter Noble’s narration brings out the drama. – The Times of London (THE EXPLORER - *Earphones Award winner*) Narrator Peter Noble artfully creates the brotherhood between former Marine commando Art Marvik and Special Forces communicator Shaun Strathan. - Audiofile Magazine (SILENT RUNNING) Narrator Peter Noble contributes an intelligent narration, notable for his British-accented voicing and thoughtful, deliberate pacing. - Audiofile Magazine (UTOPIA FOR REALISTS) Narrator Peter Noble is a wonderful fit for the material ... he conveys the warmth necessary to keep listeners connected to the often esoteric material. - Audiofile Magazine (OTHER MINDS) The audio version of this baroque Swedish noir is performed with exemplary technique by Peter Noble. - Audiofile Magazine (MEMORANDOM) Noble's reading, steady and assured, draws listeners into the chilling machinations of Cold War intelligence agencies. - Audiofile Magazine (THE SPECIAL COLLECTION) As the urgency of Bailey's need to escape becomes clear, the author steps up the pace, and so does Noble, all the while portraying a plethora of characters--an American agent, several British agents, a Polish woman, Russians, Germans, and others. The melting pot of characters--major and minor--is kept clear through varying tones and deft accents. Together, author and narrator keep a great Cold War spy story moving. - Audiofile Magazine (A CHOICE OF ENEMIES)
