Performance Notes
Start of Ch3 in A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St Clair is the point in the book where Persephone has woken from the morning after meeting Hades. She notices Hades mark but isn't sure what it is. She also gets a surprise visit bright and early while she is just trying to get ready for her first day of her internship.

I have been a "for fun" reader for as long as I can remember. It always helped me to read at least somewhat aloud. Many years ago, I did a bit of acting and singing (it was in high school and maybe a choral college scholarship). At some point in my development, I began mimicking and practicing accents. It started, of course, with a British accent. Eventually, I got to where I could do several and hop back and forth between a few pretty quickly. The household favorite is Russian even though it is not one of my best. With my love for accents has come a love for learning languages so one of my 3 boys and I are learning Spanish together and I am also learning Russian. I am a perfectionist about things like this, so, if I don't think it sounds right or could sound just a bit better, I will work until it is done. There is no reason not to read these with passion because if you can't then the listener might as well read the book themselves.
