Performance Notes
David McPhail's Edward and the Pirates, one of my favorite books. Complete with the sound of turning pages and -- if you listen closely -- a dog snoring and shifting on the bed. Snuggle up with some cocoa and give it a listen.

Shel Silverstein's The Pirate, from A Light in the Attic. "Scottish" is the closest to "Pirate" in the accents listed. Thanks for listening! Enjoy.

Shel Silverstien's poem, Invitation, from Where The Sidewalk Ends.
Classically trained at The Boston Conservatory, award-winning actor Edward Hightower brings a wide variety of skills to every project he embraces; a natural mimic, he began mastering dialects at the age of three. Equally at home on film, on stage, in musicals and non-musicals alike, Edward is master of a potent set of comedic and dramatic skills. His most recent projects include HERCULES SAVES CHRISTMAS (Director), which premiered on Animal Planet and is currently streaming on Netflix, COTTON PATCH GOSPEL, a one-man show and bluegrass musical for which he was nominated as Best Actor by the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle, and THE PRODUCERS for which Edward won the Sacramento Area Elly Award for Best Actor in a Musical. Edward's writing abilities give him a superior grasp of the English language which plays directly into his reading and performance skills.
