Bree Welch is a professional actor, voice artist and teacher with 20 years of experience in the US and Europe. She is a graduate of the Old Globe Master of Fine Arts professional actor training program where she was directed by former Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Adrian Noble in King Lear, Inherit the Wind, The Madness of King George III, and As You Like It. Other Old Globe performances include The Taming of the Shrew (directed by Ron Daniels, former Artistic Director of the RSC), Richard III (directed by Lindsay Posner, Artistic Director of The Royal Court Theatre Upstairs), The Winter’s Tale, Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Country Wife, and Dividing the Estate. Additional work in the US includes: Special narration with the Houston Symphony for their production of Holiday Pops; A Christmas Carol, Crimes of the Heart at the Alley Theatre; Who’s Holiday, Who am I This Time, The Rabbit Hole: Stage’s Reparatory Theatre; Henry V, Antigone and Triumph of Love: Classical Theatre Company; The Revolutionists, The Secretary: Main Street Theatre; Hamlet, The Tempest, Love’s Labors Lost, Titus Andronicus, Julius Caesar, Cymbeline , Romeo and Juliet, and Measure for Measure: Houston Shakespeare Festival; Miracle on 34th Street, The Odd Couple, Enchanted April, The Heiress: Unity Theatre.
