Hello! I was a child actor, a member of ACTRA by 8 years old, performing in theatre and on TV. Related to narrating, I competed in live story-telling competitions and also landed a story-telling spot on Today's Special. I absolutely love to read and was always that kid who raised her hand to read the book aloud to the rest of the class. Now, I am an adult, standing here raising my hand to read aloud, your message or story to an attentive audience. Work ethic-wise: I am great with feedback and take direction well, eager to make the collaboration a huge success. I work hard and always make deadlines. I love good communication, so I am always forthright in my expression, and am very responsive to emails. Since joining ACX mid-February 2020, I have completed over 30 projects, both non-fiction and fiction. I have added sound effects and music when requested by the author. Outside of narrating, I am an entrepreneur and musician with acting experience, here to develop and apply my superpowers to good causes! We are living in a paradigm of depending on multiple streams of income rather than one, and so I'm here to add this stream to my collection. I have a textile line, Uplift Textiles, and also make tons of music for brands as well as songs for pure pleasure. Thank you kindly for the opportunity to narrate your book and bring the story to life!
The fiction books I have completed/in production are: Pretty Fin 1 & 2, by Smokey Moment 2020 Savior's Spell, Book 1 by Gwen Rivers 2020 Savior's Hex, Book 2 2020 Savior's Curse, Book 3 2020 Nailed by You, by Nikki Mays 2020 Jetta, by Raven Kennedy 2020 Impermanent Universe, by Vern Buzarde 2020 The Exodus, David Fairchild 2021 The Fae Side of Forty, Jennifer Hart 2021 Over the Faery Hill, Jennifer Hart 2021 Waking Up Polyamory, Kat Stark 2021
"Jacqueline Rendell is a rising star in the world of audiobook narration. A true professional and a pleasure to work with." -USA Today bestselling author Jennifer L. Hart (writing as Gwen Rivers) June 2020 "Absolutely wonderful! The best read of all my books. I was in awe. Very interactive. You brought the characters to life. It was amazing. I cannot stress how well you did. Even when I compare it to others who have been at it for a while, you stand out. I want to continue to work with you. I am writing Fin II and you have it. I am not going to seek auditions. It is yours. Job well done!" Smokey Moment, author of Pretty Fin, June 2020 "Jacqueline Rendell’s voice has a unique tone and resonance that will hypnotize audiences and immerse them into the world the writer has created. Characters explode off the page and into the listeners mind through her great sense for accents, timing, and subtle tone changes. I was thrilled with her performance and would highly recommend Jacqueline to anyone trying to elevate the audiobook experience to its highest level" Vern Buzarde - Author of “Impermanent Universe.” "I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my experience with Jacqueline as the narrator for my book The Exodus. Jacqueline respects your work and wants the best for it. She will refer to it as your “book baby.” My book has well over 200 characters, and Jacqueline portrayed all of them with careful consideration and dignity. She’s not just open to feedback and direction, she asks and wants it regularly. I would, with full confidence, fight to work with Jacqueline any day on any additional projects. Here’s my warning though. Although Jacqueline will give you everything to make your book sound wonderful, the only thing that could get in the way of that is you, the author. If you are a control freak, and need to babysit every little lilt, pronunciation or way she speaks or interprets a line, you are probably someone who needs to learn how voice actors can bring perspective to your book. This is not just true for Jacqueline but any skilled voice actor. You need to be open to let the actor work and realize that not all the ways you may have heard someone speak in your book, including the narrator, is not the way an actor may present it. Quite often, Jacqueline’s interpretation is better, I just had to allow it to be. In other words, if your approach is to babysit Jacqueline and do it all your way, yes, she will still do a good job, but I guarantee that you will have prevented her from doing an awesome job." David Fairchild, Author of The Exodus
