This wonderful 25 hour long road trip adventure was such fun to record. In this clip the two sisters have spent the evening at the camp fire of a chapter of the Hells Angels at the Nurbergring and are rather the worse for wear

I have always been involved in the performing arts . I was fortunate enough to have my speaking and singing voice trained as a child and that has allowed me to offer a range of characters, accents and to perform convincingly in most genres. I love voice acting and having a well equipped home studio and a talented creative editor/proofer of some 45 + audiobooks in my husband Mark a cottage in the beautiful village of East Coker Somerset - it is the perfect set up. I have also worked with external studios like Audio Factory.
I am delighted to have narrated almost 50 titles over the last three years across many genres including Fiction, cosy murder mystery,, thrillers,. children's fiction, biography, historical fiction, comedy. romance, poetry. t seem to be carving a niche with cosy murder mysteries and am working on two series currently. . I was a shortlisted nominee (for best narration non fiction for a biography of T S Eliot ) for the One Voice Awards . Also third placed audiobook in the cosy murder mystery category last year.
I recently had the great good fortune to work with Alex Lee, who narrated my historical novel, The Velveteen Daughter. She was wonderful on every level: professional, quick to respond to every query, and, above all, a marvelous actress. Alex took the time to read the book and to come back to me with questions she had about characters so that she could understand them fully. Her interpretation of my work was superb, and if there was a passage I thought needed fixing (which was rare) I would give her a bit of direction and voila! - perfection. Anthea narrating as Alex Lee has a terrific sense of pacing and instinctively knows what will work for best dramatic effect. I would choose to work with her again in a heartbeat. Laurel Davis Huber author. July 2018. Thank you for your audition. It's brilliant. Perfect. It captured the tone and character of the whole novel. I can't find fault and if you do still want to work with me, I hope to sort this out next week and make an offer. Cy (Ian Smith) I LOVE LOVE LOVE your production of Midbury Murders Book One. So happy, I had to let you know before I've even finished listening! I'll hit the approve button today. As far as I can see I won't want any changes. Martina Thurlow author Yes, I loved it. you seem to have made a connection with Anne already :) As you know I haven't much experience with audio (I don't listen to them either) but you had me hooked. Judith Arnopp author of Kiss of the Concubine How shall I set up you doing Midbury Murders Book Two: Death Lies Dormant? "Everything sounds great! Character voices are excellent and the production value is as well.
