In college, I majored in voice and planned to become a music teacher. Instead, I fell in love with performing Musical Comedy and became a stage actor. I bring over 35 years of acting experience in regional theater, stock and dinner theater. Including nearly 23 years on the Broadway Stage. As a classically trained singer, my voice has an incredible range in pitch, color, dynamics and stamina. As an actor, I can convey a wide range of characters from dramatic to comic. As a voice actor, I am extremely comfortable behind the mic. And, oh, I should also mention, I studied audio engineering between acting gigs. I have an intimate and serviceable home studio and I am able to deliver a clean, well-edited recording of your project.

James Romick, narrator, is extremely talented. He never lets the excitement get away – he builds it with his voice and controls the suspense masterfully. His words are clear and express the perfect amount of emotion. I enjoyed hearing him read this book. He owned this book! -- "THE EIGHTH DAY" by Joseph John - AudioBook Reviewer James Romick is a consummate professional on and off the mic. He infuses every character with a unique and engaging voice while managing to keep the tone consistent for the listener. I love working with artists like James. He's the type of performer I can hand my manuscript over to without worrying if the finished product will meet my standards. His work on King Sparrow exceeded every expectation I had, and at times I had to go back and listen to sections again because I became so engaged I forgot I was supposed to give notes! If you have the opportunity to cast James for your audiobook I suggest you do it immediately before somebody else snatches him up. -- BILL MEEKS, AUTHOR, "THE TRIALS OF KING SPARROW" Working with James Romick on my four novels was truly a pleasure. Not only is James a dedicated professional with years of acting experience that is reflected in every word delivered from the pages of my stories, but he has a gifted talent, which made all my characters come to life through voice and subtle inflections that only an excellent, well-trained actor can conceive. James was also extremely easy to work with; conscientious, an excellent listener, and always receptive to suggestions and making changes. He was very patient, dependable, and delivered on time. Finally, aside from everything else, I found James to be overall a real nice guy, a joy to work with, and a person that I'd have no qualms about recommending to other authors (and have) for the production of their works. -- TONY PIAZZA, AUTHOR, "ANYTHING SHORT OF MURDER" - "MURDER AMONGST ANGELS" - "MURDER IS SUCH SWEET REVENGE" - "CURSE OF THE CRIMSON DRAGON" Broadway actor James Romick performed the first two books, and production is beginning on the third, Piazza explained. Romick produced and read the audio books, bringing Logan's signature voice to life. Romick's performances have been well received by Piazza's fans and newcomers to his series alike, the author explained. “At times you do forget that it is just one person reading, so sometimes it is like listening to a radio play,” Piazza said. “It takes on a whole different effect when you hear it coming back to you in that way.” -The Santa Maria Sun - Volume 16, Issue 22 - by Joe Payne - 8/5/2015 I just approved Apache Dawn for publication--I think you did a terrific job! I can't get over how *real* it seems to hear the story rather than just read it. Amazing stuff. I'm so excited to introduce this version to my fans. Thank you so much for working with me on this! -- MARCUS RICHARDSON, AUTHOR, "APACHE DAWN"
